Restart your macbook air, then select a desktop background photo from system preferences > desktop & screen saver > desktop and then it should work. You can drag an image from your desktop or a folder onto the thumbnail of the current wallpaper to use the image as your wallpaper.
1) Click And Choose System Preferences.
Go down to system preferences. Web to open these settings, choose apple menu > system settings, then click wallpaper in the sidebar. Restart your macbook air, then select a desktop background photo from system preferences > desktop & screen saver > desktop and then it should work.
